A New Beginning:
Building Support for Every Student

Step 1. Foundation Registered - Completed
Oregon state registration complete. Legal entity now established as the West Linn Wilsonville School Foundation

Step 2. Board Formation - Completed Summer 2025
Find and elect officers and assign board of directors. Approve foundation bylaws.

Step 3. Operational Setup and 501(c)3 Application - WE ARE HERE
We applied for tax-exempt status with IRS in September 2025, approvals can take up to 6-10 months.
While we wait we are getting to work by establishing tools and processes to run the foundation, getting the word out and preparing for our launch.

Step 4. Launch Fundraising
Soft launch to test strategies. Execute formal launch of fundraising campaigns including corporate sponsorships and private donations.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower every student in the West Linn-Wilsonville School District by working to ensure access to highly trained and effective teachers, enriching student learning year over year and filling critical funding gaps that PTAs and tax dollars cannot.

Our Vision
Through strong community partnerships, we envision a future where every student has the resources, support, and opportunities needed to reach their full potential, and educator funding is never a barrier to student success.
The Impact of Your Support

Forgoing one coffee a week = 18 teachers saved.
8,800 students can make it happen.
If each family of the 8,800 students in West Linn-Wilsonville gave up just one $5 coffee a week and donated the money instead,
we could raise over $2.4 million — enough to add 18 certified teachers' jobs.
